The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians’ opened the Bok Homa Casino in November 2010 with a guest appearance by “Mr. Las Vegas” himself Wayne Newton. Bok Homa is the state’s newest gaming destination. Bok Homa Casino means “red creek” in Choctaw.
 
The 27,000 square-foot venue, located at One Choctaw Road, features new slot games that are the first of their kind in Mississippi in addition to classic favorites. All total, 768 slot machines, electronic blackjack, electronic roulette and video poker comprise the new 24 hour, seven-day- a-week gaming property that officials believe will add value and needed economic stimulus to the surrounding communities.

The Bok Homa is part of the Pearl River Resorts. The resort features the Silver Star, Golden Moon, and Bok Homa, with a host of exciting hotel/casinos with more than 3,500 slot machines, nearly 100 table games, 1,074 hotel rooms, 10 restaurants, European spa facilities, shopping and live entertainment.  Also featured is The Dancing Rabbit Golf Club with two championship golf courses and Geyser Falls Water Theme Park.
